Meet the team
We have a team of experienced fabricators; most of whom have been with the company for well over 20 years. They are highly valued both within the company and by customers whom they meet. They are all fully trained by external systems companies that we use.
Simon Hagain BSc
Company Director
Co-Founder November 2002
Simon is the remaining co-founder of Vision 2000; he has 30 years experience in the fenestration industry
and has been a Director of Vision 2000 for well over
20 years. Simon oversees the running of the
business on a daily basis. In his spare time Simon
trains Gundogs.
Darren Board
Contracts Manager
Joined September 2025
Darren joined the company recently in September 2025, having previous experience within aluminium windows and doors. He loves football, and is an avid fan of Aston Villa.
Gary Cridland
Estimator
Joined October 2012
Gary joined the company in 2012, and has become a valued member of the team. Gary is responsible for
the pricing of the projects we work on; if you require
a tender completing, Gary is your man. He is an avid supporter of the Wales football team – and Cardiff
when they are winning!
Gary Glennon
On-Site Supervisor
Joined March 2025
Gary was employed by us previously, as a fabricator, for 14 years. He is therefore very experienced in all aspects of the manufacturing process, and therefore will be a great asset on site. He is a keen mountain biker and a fan of Liverpool football club.
Helen Tovey
Estimating Assistant
Joined October 2025
Helen is a newly welcomed member of the
estimating team. Her hobbies include open water swimming, gardening and interiors, and generally
being active.
Michelle Herbert
Accounts Clerk
Joined November 2014
Michelle is responsible for the day to day running of our accounts department; she is responsible for both sales and purchase ledger. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, and dog Pepper.
Carolyn Stanley
Digital Marketing
Joined April 2005
Carolyn is responsible for Digital Marketing within the company. This includes making sure our website is as up-to-date as possible, and also our social media. Carolyn is a huge animal lover, and her passion is her Labradors!
